Should i buy an ipod touch 5gen or an iphone 4s? Which is more worth it?

Hi. So i can't still figure out what to buy, Ipod touch 5th gen is newer and the iphone 4s was made 2 years ago. The ipod touch 5 has the resemblance of an iphone 5s and has hq camera while the iphone 4s also have a good one. The iphone 4 have a sim so you can connect anywhere and surf while the ipod touch 5g only works in Wi-Fi/hotspots. But i don't text that much.there's an i messge on both. What should i buy?

I don't understand why people post these questions and say next to nothing about what it is that they want out of their device and what they're willing to pay for. Those are the things that make either gadget something you should or shouldn't be getting.

  • Which should I get? Ipod touch 6 or Iphone 6? If I do get the Iphone 6 I will not have data. The only reason I want the iphone 6 is for the processor and the touch-id, but I only have enough for the ipod touch 6. If the iphone is better I will just save my money and get it later.
  • Which should I buy: iPhone 4 (japanlocked) or iPod Touch 4th Gen? Well you see, I'm basically gonna use it for music, mainly. The iPhone 4 (jpl) is gonna cost me like several bucks more. But the thought of possible call&text feature with the use of gmate is like a bonus for me. (But I have no gmate yet… Don't even need a new phone anyway) But then here comes iPod touch 4th gen, a few bucks cheaper than iPhone with almost the same use like that of the japan locked iPhone. Which do you think I should get?
  • Should I buy the iPod Touch 6th gen, iPhone 6, or iPhone 6s? I have an iPod 5th get since December 2012. It is in rough shape now and I'm going to have to replace it in the next months. What should I get? (I also have a MacBook Pro 2014 btw) *Would it be ridiculous to buy an iPhone and not get a plan right away?
  • Should I buy the Iphone 5 or Ipod Touch 5th generation? I'm not sure which one to get since it sounds like the exact same thing, except the ipod touch isn't a phone. Then the price is different too. I just want to know what you guys would recommend.
