I would never recommend wasting money on an iPhone especially on someone else's money (which is what a scholarship is.) Buy a practical android based phone if you need one. Use your scholarship money for education like it was meant for.

Why on earth someone "needs" an overpriced Iphone is beyond me. For a hundred bucks you can get an Android phone that does everything the Apple phone does except impress your friends.
