Should I buy my new iPhone from apple as Verizon or unlocked?
So basically, I have an iPhone 8. It isn't payed off until November. This summer i'm Going to trade it in to get an iPhone XR but before I trade it in I'm going to factory reset the phone and take the SIM card out. Then once my new phone comes in I'm gonna put the SIM card into my new phone. Will that work? Should I buy it unlocked and just use my old SIM card?
I trade in my iPhone every year for the new one with Verizon. It's a birthday gift to because my birthday is in September.

Unlocked because then you'd have the freedom to pick the plans from whichever provider that fits your needs and expense preference.
All Verizon phones are unlocked so it doesn't matter. Generally it's better to activate the phone under a new sim card through Verizon since registers the phone in their system properly and your risk for calling\voicemail\texting issues will be minimized.
- T Mobile or Verizon. Should I pay T-Mobile 175.00 for an upgrade or 94.00 to Verizon for new phone? I want the iPhone 6s plus. I'm already with t mobile but there internet is a bit slow sometimes. My wireless phone service is on a business plan and only the business owner is our Verizon Account Manager, so I do not have rights to access my Verizon account. I have had my Blackberry Storm2 for over 3 years and I'm wondering if it is better for me to wait and see if Verizon will offer the 64GB iPhone 5 at a discounted price for me or if Apple will offer the iPhone 5 at the same exact price as Verizon including the ability to sync with my Verizon business account?

I just can't decide which one is best for me and I definitely want some sort of plan. Apple care is an upfront cost, but it is cheaper.
