Should I buy the iPhone 5 or wait until 5s comes out?

If they even do one. Or buy the iPhone 4s? What do you prefer? It'll be my first iPhone ever and I need a phone with excellent battery life.

Il tell ya right now Iphones have HORRIBLE battery life. I would get an andorid. The s3 or the nexus would be your best options. They have battery that can last 2-4 days. IOS on iphones glitch all the time and stall. With android it will never glitch or stall and the android market has 3 times as many free and paid for apps then apple. You can also use mp3 and don't need to pay for music Its all around better.

I have the iPhone 5 and I like it more than the 4s. It has a good battery life, charges pretty fast and if you like photography it has the panorama option, but I heard that the next iPhone may have finger printing or eye scanning as the pass code if you choose, though this may be available through upgrade. If you want a phone now I would recommend the iPhone 5, i use it a lot and it is simple and easy to use and even if you wait for the next one there will always be another newer better one coming out. It's all up to how soon you want your phone and if a few new cool things are important to you.

There will always be new versions as everything is always evolving. I would be upset if there wasn't new versions. Hardware especially is always improving and getting smaller and better. If waiting for the next version then you will always be waiting.

The 5 of course is the best option. The 4S is good but if you have the option to start at the top then why not?
The 5S is expected in September, so unless you'd rather wait until then by all means…
