Should I buy the Samsung Galaxy S4 or the iPhone 5? Why?

I own an iPad 2, in case that helps. Don't think it would, but since it is similar to the iPhone, I was wondering.

Galaxy S4
reason: because I said so

Samsung Galaxy S4… It is not programmed to go wrong after 2 yrs

They're both good, but the iphone will be able to share apps with the ipad. I have the i5 and I'm very happy with it.

Proof:

Both are amazing regardless of which one you decide to pick after reading my thoughts. To begin with, the Galaxy S4 is an amazing phone to start with if you are planning on going over to Android. The reason alone is that Samsung is slowly trying to create an ecosystem where all of its devices can seamlessly work together. Samsung isn't too far behind in terms of matching what Apple is currently has. Nevertheless, Samsung is getting real close if not soon to match or topple the current Apple. I will not list or go in depth to all the features of the Galaxy S4 has out because you probably have heard or seen it elsewhere. Both devices are on par to each other but the Samsung does come ahead. If you are planning on buying the Iphone 5, you might as wait because the soon to be Iphone 5s/6 will be up for grabs and if you aren't in any hurry then wait patiently! The main differences between the two would be their openness to users. Android (mobile operating system) offers customizability to the users and it has a learning curve. Its not the easiest to learn but given some time on the device, you will get the hand of it. Apple on the other hand offers a easy to learn system where everything is easy as 1-2-3. If you have invested a great deal on your Ipad 2 with songs and etc. Its recommended that you stay with an Iphone. Basically, what it cones down to: If you haven't invested anything much then, I would recommend you moving on over to the Galaxy S4. For me, I have the Note 1 and I'm thinkin about jumping on board with the S4 if not the Note 3. Its really hard for me to go over to through Iphone because

1. Their screen size literally kills me when I have to concentrate on their tiny screen which isn't good for my eyes in the long run.
2. Their inability to multi-task like the android system killed it for me.
3. Their notification system isn't as good as the android
4. Their inabilitytheir non-openness doesn't work for me
5. This one is more of a personal ethic, knowing Apple steals and copy certain apps which a users put their heart and soul into and then turning around and completely integrating it into their next phone is a big no no for me. Did out know that the imessage/messenger on iphone uses data transaction and not message network transaction. Your provider knows this well but insists you pay for messaging on their network when you are using Apple's to run messenger… Tsk tsk.

Hopefully that will get out on step closer to making your choice.

IPhone 5 is a much better device, a lot better build quality, has better apps and you can share the apps from your iPad, you just log in to your App Store account and download iPhone versions of the apps you want.
