Should I erase my stolen iPhone?
On Friday at school someone stole my phone, it has a pass code on it but they've used 1MB of data and called a cab twice. Did they find out my pass code or something? Can they see all of my ***? The find my iPhone app says its been offline since Friday but they used it last night. Also I still have hope that I'll get it back. Should I erase it?
Added (1). Also, as of this morning the wireless service on it has been suspended
Erase it, at least then, they can't try to make some money off it, selling it as 'working' to some unsuspecting purchaser.
Have you reported it to the police as stolen?
If they know your pass-code, they may know you or at least be near enough to see you type it in.

It happened two weekends ago and I don't think the person ever turned it on until today but I got an email saying it was turned on, lost mode was activated so it locked itself, and it has tracked it to a city about 15 miles away from my house at an apartment complex. - Lost iPhone, should I erase it? My iPhone was stolen & I used find my iPhone to see that it has been tracked to a pretty seedy apartment complex. The thief turned the phone off (or it died) & now I'm not even sure that it's still there. So I'm using my old 3 right now but after I backed it up I found that none of my photos were there. About 3 months of pictures. So should I wipe the phone? Is there a way to get the photos from iCloud? If I wipe the phone would it delete the photos from iCloud?
