Should I get a Droid or an iPhone? - 1

I want to get a smartphone. I'm already changing carriers from at&t to verizon. I'm not going to use the smartphone for business etc. I'm just using it as a phone as I'm in high school. I have friends that have own both and they say that technically droid is better but it is harder to use. Is this true? Based on quality, speed, and convenience, which should I get? Money is not a problem.

Iphone.has a better store of apps

Android phones are cheaper and there are more diverse amount of apps. But iphones are better in quality, and are easier to use

IPhone, I have a droid and thing just makes me so mad. I have a Samsung Infuse 4g and it is always freezing, has a 2 min start up time, I have to charge at least once sometimes twice a day, the Wi-Fi sucks, wanna take a quick photo? Nope troll phone to the rescue. The upside is the bright 4 inch screen and takes nice pics.

With droid you get 3rd party apps are are much more vulnerable to virus/trojans/malware ETC. I'm in HS as well. But I have found my Samsung Infuse to be a half in inch bigger than the iPhone screen on both L & W. You could go down to the store and just test drive both. Droids do have more capability and selection.

Buy the droid but buy a good one. The only people that like iphone are the ones that never had a droid

Once you get used to using a droid, you'll realize that they really aren't that hard to use and they are so much more open and customizable compared to iPhones. I recommend the Samsung Galaxy S3, it's the fastest phone in the world and it's got amazing features like facial recognition unlock.

First off, kudos for being a teenager who actually uses real english online! I'm in my 20s and feel like an old hag griping about that but it's quite ridiculous these days! To answer your question, I'm an iphone user typing this FROM an iphone and I love it. The main thing that I think makes the decision for people is Apple's non-adobe lifestyle. If java is important to you and you don't want to jailbreak your device, go with droid. Personally, I have no problems with it. Everyone's different. You either like Apple or you hate its limitations and aren't willing to deal with it. Not too many people are on the fence.

I haven't had a droid, so I can't say what their like, but I recently got an iPhone and I love it! It's an amazing phone!
