Should i get a ipod touch or a iphone?

So i'm 13 years old and i finally saved up to buy a ipod 4 or a iphone 3G but which one should i get? What are the differences?

Added (1). Btw i will not be able to activate the iphone until i'm 14

Iphone has all the ipod does plus you can call without Wi-Fi ipods you need to have a Wi-Fi connection to call people with an app

The iphone is pretty much the same as an ipod touch but you get the phone and messaging of course. Although on the touch you can still have messaging but you need Wi-Fi to use it. I'd get the iphone but you really only need that if youre going to need the phone/messaging everywhere you go

I would prefer the iphone over the ipod touch.
The greatest part of having an iphone is that you can make calls. The apps are similar in both, and so is the camera and sound quality.
The downside of the iPod Touch, of course, is that it can only get on the Internet when you're in a Wi-Fi hotspot. You can't jump on the net whenever you want, like you can with an iPhone. But once you have your iPod, you don't have to pay any ongoing monthly data fees, unlike with an iPhone.
