Should I get a Nokia Lumia 920 or an iPhone 5?

I was thinking of buying one of them for my birthday, but I honestly don't know which one I should get:/

Depends, do you like Big and Wide? Or thin and small. Other than size they are exactly the same

Both used the walled garden approach. Out of the two, I would go iPhone; many more apps. If it was my money though, I wouldn't go with either.

I would go with the iPhone 5 for many reasons. Don't get me wrong the Lumina 920 is a great phone, but the iPhone has ios the most user friendly mobile os and the HUGE App Store, there's an app for almost anything. The 5 also has an apple a6 processor which is faster than the luminas processor. The iphone also has panorama and HDR modes on its camera. You can't go wrong with either phone here but do yourself a favor and buy an iphone.

Nokia Lumia 920. I had iPhone 4 and switched to Nokia Lumia 900. I like my Lumia 900 alot more than my iPhone. It should probably be the same with the 920 and iPhone 5. But then again its preferences. I like the UI a lot better on Nokia Lumia and most of the major apps are on the app store are on the windows market. The metro thing is very nice on the major apps you find on both OSs like the facebook, instagram and youtube apps.

Buy Nokia Lumia 920. This is the best selling mobile in India. I personally recommended to you. This device has excellent features:

Go with the Nokia 920.It's cheaper, you get wireless charging, nfc capabilities, a better video recorder, better camera, better screen. Over all it is a better phone (spec wise). Also you can have a greater peace of mind knowing that if you drop your phone the chances of the 920 breaking is much much less than the iPhone breaking, this has been shown countless times on many different YouTube videos. The only thing the iPhone 5 does better than the 920 is provide more non-essential apps and it costs more doing it.

So make a list of what you need out of your phone and then make a choice based off of it, otherwise its always just a popularity contest when you ask people's opinions about it.

I have the 920 and I love it, it does everything I want and it does it well.
