Should i get an iPad mini if i already have an iphone?
I'm 14, and i don't know whether to get an ipad mini. I have an iPhone 4 and a laptop, but i would like an iPad mini, do you think i should get one? Or is it a waste?
Ipad Mini is worth it.
It is lighter than a laptop
It is bigger than a iPhone
Most importantly save $ to buy apps and music with it.
I have a iphone, laptop and a iPad so I know the feeling to have it all.
I think its kinda a waste if you have a computer and were to get an ipad mino. I mean, i guess if your computer is not an apple laptop then like ya get the ipad but if you have an iphone and an apple computer? Id just say no cause its like you have the same things on both and stuff.
Maybe if you needed it for a job, or college, but I don't see any reason that you would need ANOTHER device seeing as there isn't anything the iPad can do for you that your other devices can't already do. Maybe think about people that have no iPhones or computers (or food!) and donate the money you money would have used on the iPad you don't need to people who actually have needs for normal things you tale for granted.
STOP! You are 14 and you already have your won laptop AND an iPhone 4! I'm 16 and I don't even want that stuff. What is wrong with parents!
I have a MacBook, iPhone 5, and an iPad mini and I can safely say that I use them all for different purposes. You might think that since you have a laptop and an iPhone already, the iPad mini would be a waste, but it is not. I use my iPad for reading (the screen size is perfect for reading) and games. The games are a much higher resolution on the iPad, so it's a lot easier to see the small details you might've missed. I also use my iPad mini for school, which is beneficial as well.
I will say though that you are 14, and that new Apple products come out every year or so. Do you Really need an iPad as well? If you save your money, you could get a really fancy computer when you go to university/college, then you'll be thanking your past self for not getting the iPad mini you wanted when you were 14. Plus, most electronics only seem to last a couple years, meaning that it will be obsolete again when you are going to head off to university.
Bottom line, the iPad mini is awesome, and I found it was a great addition to my techno-arsenal. However, you are 14 and could use the money in the future for going to university/college.
Don't buy an Ipad mini its not worth it. The applications, music, movies, games and other downloads will all be the same. Plus you can conceal an Iphone in your pocket, who wants to carry an Ipad all day. And of course its not lighter who said that, its more than double the weight since its bigger. You don't always have to spend your money on technology there's other things in life too. What can you do with Ipad that you can't do with an Iphone or laptop. The Iphone is far more portable and can be gripped with one hand, but an Ipad needs your undivided attention with both hands, then when you need to do something you have to strap it back up in a bag, and worry about it getting stolen, broken, or scrathed. With an Iphone you just slip it into your pocket and go. Your going to $329 for a bigger screen. Come on.
I mean i'm 14 i have an itouch an iphone and a laptop i really don't ask for much because i think and ipad would be a waste of money --my opinion---and i don't waste my time on ipads because i think everything is the same thing as the iphone just bigger except you can't call.

- What use is an ipad or ipad mini to someone with an iphone and macbook? I'm thinking of getting an ipad mini or ipad 2 for someone who already has an iphone 5 and macbook pro. I don't know how useful it will be since they are not likely to use it outside of their home and i'll be getting the non 3g version so it won't be much use when they take it out anyway.

Would this be a good fit as a laptop/computer? I love my iPhone and don't want to abandon it though! Lol. Can someone who has both explain to me if it was worth it?
