Should I get iPhone 4, 4s, or 5?

I'm a college student and I don't have much money. I've always had cheap basic phones, and I'm considering upgrading to an iPhone for the most basic smartphone + data usage plan through Verizon. I usually have my laptop nearby so I'm more interested in call, picture, and app quality than internet. I'm having trouble deciding if iPhone 5 is worth $200 when iPhone 4 is for free and and 4s for $100? IPhone 4 was considered one of the best phones on the market last year, and I don't care too much about the newer features of the iPhone 5.So… What would you recommend? Splurging for the latest model or not?

I would go with the iPhone 4s because you don't want it to be too old. Plus, it's still a good phone, even though it's not the new model. So I would go with the iPhone 4s.

I had an iphone but I went and got a samsung galaxy s3 abd really like it… But if not don't buy the 4s it is pretty much the excact same thing sas the 4 except siri… My friebd has the i5 abd its cool

Just get the 5, it will be worth it in the long run.
It will get iOS updates longer than the 4/4s will.
And since you care about app quality, getting the 5 is a good idea. Because some app developers might stop allowing app support for the 4 in a little while. I got the 5 and I'm also a college student, and it was a great decision. The bigger display really helps it easier to keep track of my grades and look up things quickly.
