Should I get the 4S or the 5C?

I'm planning on getting a new 2-year contract with AT&T and I'm planning on going back to iPhone after less than a year on my Galaxy S3. For AT&T the 4S is free with a 2-yr contract, while the 5C is about $99.

I don't really care about speed to be honest. They're both fast in their own rights. All I want is a simple iPhone. I don't care about being up-to-date. I just wanna know if I should be cheap and get the 4S or just go ahead and spend the extra cash on the 5C! Thank you! I'm planning on getting the white version of either phone if that helps.

I have a roommate that just got the 5. He loves it. Though it isn't much different from the 4, it is lighter and a bigger screen, so that is pretty nice. If the money isn't a big deal I'd go with the 5.

If you would like an upgraded screen size (4in), higher resolution, A higher clock speed A6 chip (1.3 GHz compared to 1ghz), double the amount of RAM, 16 or 32 GB storage (compared to only 8), 4G LTE for a higher price point and the loss of premium feeling (glass back on iPhone 4S), you should go for the iPhone 5C.

The reviews on the 5C are actually really good, they say plastic case but apparently its very hard to break and is really durable, many websites show examples of how hard it is to break whatever they used to make that casing. 5C has a better battery also then the original 5 had.
4S is free on 2 year contract though, thats hard to beat.
