Should i get the Apple iPhone 5 or the Samsung Galaxy Note 2?

I'm buying a new phone and i was just wondering which one is better. Some people say the iphone and some people say the galaxy.

NOTE 2!

I heard the Samsung galaxy is better cuz its cheaper and apple isn't always the best quality and really expensive. I have an iPod touch 4g and I've heard it's pretty close to an iPhone and my Ipod freezes a lot so I'd go with the Samsung galaxy phone but it's all up to and what your preference is.

The iPhone 5 is more geared towards being a simple smartphone, so you don't have to worry about any setting( this is great, if you're not interested on how your phones works, but you just want it to be easy to understand and operate). This of course comes at the cost of customization. There's very little customizing to be done with the iPhone set aside from apps. In addition, the iPhone doesn't allow expandable storage. This means that if you run out of space, that you can't add any more( Note 2 can add 32GB extra with a micro sd card). Aside from the physical size the only real difference is whether you want a simple phone that presets everything for you, or whether you want a phone that you can customize and modify to your needs. Android phone take a little more getting used to, because there are more things to learn, but ultimately it leads to a more personalized experience. If you're considering an android phone, you should really consider the S3. Its most comparable to an iPhone and has better battery life.

I HAVE HAD BOTH OF THOSE PHONES. I had the note first but it was really expensive and just down right far to big to use comfterbaly, after about a week i sold it and got myself the iphone 5 which i love! I think the note is to expensive for what it is, its too big for me, it is a great phone but the hardware in apple tops it Nothing really stands out, its not all that thin or light either. I have the phone 5 and i had second thought about buying the note or the s3 but i'm glad i didint. I'm really happy with my phone

Notice that most answers here are in favor of what they have, what is better for them is not necessarily for you.
What are you looking for in a phone? First of all, both are great in heir own way, so it don't matter which phone you choose, you will be OK.
Now, have this in mind, all iDevices are slave, while Samsung products are open source.

Both are nice phones, if you want a large display go for the galaxy note 2, iphone 5 has a large display also but not as large as the galaxy note 2.

Of course Note 2 is much better

  • What is a good phone, iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S2, or Samsung Galaxy S3? I need a new phone and I'm wondering which I should get. My friend is selling his GS2 for around 50 Bucks and I could possibly get an iPhone 5 or Galaxy S3. Can you tell me the prices with and without the plan. And for people that have these phones could you tell me how good it is and which carrier(Sprint, Verizon, At&T)?
  • Should I get a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, or an iPhone 5S? Both of these phones are really new, iPhone 5S has the new finger print sensor, and the Note 3 has the watch thing that's basically a mini phone. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S3, if I get the Note 3 I really don't think there's much difference…
  • Should I get a Apple iPhone 5s or Samsung Galaxy Note 3? My uncle is going to buy me a mobile phone (which I'm So happy, and also due to good grades) and he lets me choose a phone. I decided to go for Apple iPhone 5 but I also wanted a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Which one should I get? Please answer me back WITH details why I should get that phone. Thanks: D I've read LOTS of reviews and I still can't choose which one to go with.
  • Should I buy the new iPhone 5, or wait until November for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2? I'm really tempted to get the iphone 5 right now, because I really want to switch out of my blackberry. I've never used an android phone, and I'm sick of the apple ios. The ios is too simple and plain. I was going to get the galaxy note but then I heard rumors of the Samsung Galaxy note 2. Should I risk getting the iPhone 5 and not regret it or wait 1 and a half months for the Galaxy Note 2?
