Should I get the iPhone X or the iPhone 8 (NOT plus)?

I currently have an iPhone 5S. My phone keeps running out of storage and is starting to glitch a lot, so I need a new phone. I'm leaning towards getting either the iPhone X or iPhone 8 due to their size (I have small hands). I was originally thinking about getting the iPhone X, but I think the notch might bother me. I would get the iPhone 8, but I do like the bezel-less display of the iPhone X.
Which should I get? And NO I'm not getting an Android - I was a huge Android person before and the OS always glitches.

I would definitely go for the iPhone X, iPhone 8 is a waste really and if thats what you have in mind you might aswell go for the iPhone 7 because they are the same thing.

The iPhone X is a bigger phone than the iPhone 8; it's more like an iPhone 8+.

The 8 has most of the main features of the X: same processor, wireless charging, same waterproofing, same storage capacities (which disappointingly max out at 256GB, just twice what my three year old iPhone 6 has and no more than the maximum offered by the iPhone 7.

All it really lacks is the OLED screen with that awkward notch at the top and the face sensor, but the face sensor is already proving to be less reliable than the fingerprint scanner and a little less secure.

If you have small hands then stick to the 8 and save a lot of money. It may look much the same as a 7 but it is far more like an X.

Leave the X a year or two for the follow ups which will sort out the shortcomings and get more onboard storage. There may even be a smaller screen variant by then.

I'd get the X if at all possible. Otherwise, the 8. The reviews I've seen so far have noted that they too were worried about the notch & all seemed to forget about it after a while. Could check out those reviews on YouTube & check one out at an Apple Store to see for yourself.
