Should I go with AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint?

I'm almost 16 years old, and not only is one of my New Year's Resolutions to be more mature, but I'm also going to be 18 in a couple of years. My dad pays for six "unlimited-everything" phones, so I especially would like to help him out a bit.

Back to my original question, which phone carrier should I go with: AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint? Also, I plan on getting an iPhone 5. Price isn't really a problem, but please include both a higher-priced and lower-priced answer.

The iphone is coming out in tmobile this year.
I suggest you wait for it because tmobile has cheaper plans.

Sprint. Unlimited data is best especially with a smartphone.

Ok please don't make the mistake look at the number ONE US CARRIER!

GO WITH VERIZON! Don't fall for less.

Yes sprint and Tmobile are cheaper… BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

Now, if you want to be able to make calls everywhere you go without a problem, then by all means, go with Verizon. Verizon is also the most expensive out of the bunch, but hey, you get what you pay for. Their data is pretty speedy and the 4G LTE network is available in a huge number of markets. But it is limited data unfortunately and was limited since July 7th, 2011. Verizon has the best customer service out of the 3

AT&T is the second best in line with making calls, but you will run into a couple of dead zones occasionally. However, their plans are a little cheaper than that of Verizon. Their 4G LTE data is also pretty speedy and a little faster than Verizon right now because they have less users saturating the quality. But as the network continues to grow, expect the data speeds to slow down. Their data is also limited as well.AT&T also has the worst customer service base out of the 3.

Sprint is the last out of the bunch with making calls and their reception isn't as great as the other 2 carriers, so expect to run into quite a bunch of dead zones. However, you can still make calls. It is also the cheapest plans out of the carriers you're asking about. Their 4G LTE networks are barely being distributed around the US right now and chances are that they don't have their 4G LTE towers set up in your state. So if you want a smartphone that has immediate 4G LTE connectivity, then you're probably better off using a different carrier (except T-Mobile). Sure the data's unlimited, but what's the point of it if you can't access the fast speeds of its network? Sprint has the second best out of the 3 when it comes to customer service.

Honestly, I would just go with the best of the best if price isn't a problem at all. So just go with Verizon. But if you don't want to be held down by limited data, want unlimited data, and will wait for Sprint to set up towers at where you live, then by all means, go with Sprint.

I think sprint. Unlimited data is the way

  • What should i choose Sprint vs Verizon? I currently have a family plan on verizon with one smartphone (iPhone) but travel to St. Louis often. Is sprints network as good as Verizon's as coverage and 4g. I'm considering switching to sprint and if I do that then we would get 3 smartphones but I don't want to compromise the coverage and data speed. If I don't then ill stay with one smartphone on Verizon. Basically my? Is which is better data and talk Verizon or sprint?
  • T Mobile or Verizon. Should I pay T-Mobile 175.00 for an upgrade or 94.00 to Verizon for new phone? I want the iPhone 6s plus. I'm already with t mobile but there internet is a bit slow sometimes. Its the jump plan ill get. Ill pay 12.00 for 24 mo. And if i get a new phone they won't run my credit again. But with verizon they'll run my credit. Is pretty good. But i don't want anybody to really run my credit tho lower it. I'm not sure about verizon internet but the commercials looks pretty good. They bboth have unlimited internet. What should I do?
  • Sprint Iphone 4s VS Sprint Galaxy Note 2? I currently own the Sprint Iphone 4S and the data speed on it is so slow it's almost unusable. I'm looking at the Sprint Galaxy note 2. My question is. Is the data speed on the Galaxy Note 2 for sprint is faster then the Sprint Iphone 4S?
  • Should I stick with verizon or move to sprint? I currently have verizon the coverage is good but I want to get the iPhone 5 I have the 4 with unlimited data its good but I'm getting tired of 3G it's slow. I seen sprint is the only carrier with truly unlimited data I hardly make phone calls but I'm a heavy data user and text once and a while if I upgrade from my line I lose my unlimited data. Which is what I don't want I live in the Los Angeles area do they have good coverage?
