Should I Put My Son Through Counseling?
Hi! I'm a 37-year old mother of a once happy and sweet child. My son is 16-years old, and has been through a lot through the past couple weeks. His girlfriend broke up with him to date his best friend. He held his dog as we put him out of misery for cancer. His $600 IPhone s6 recently was destroyed by our neighbor. He got laid back from his job at a restaurant. He hasn't been the same happy child ever since. His grades have dropped from A+s, and A's to C's and B's. Everyday after school, he just goes to his room and sleeps. He's also lost 10lbs in a week, and he didn't even have to lose any weight. He only talks about how he hates his friend, for what he did to him. I think he could benefit through counseling. What do you all think?
Your son is very depressed and desperately needs someone to talk/help him with these very tough issues he is currently going through. Get him into counseling NOW!
