Should i return my airpods?

I bought airpods a couple days ago, i'm 17 and i have a job, but i don't know if i really want to spend that much for a pair of earbuds that don't have a wire, like yes i think they're great but i don't know if my bank account thinks they're great, the two biggest downsides are that they need to be charged unlike regular earbuds and that they are 150 dollars and i just need input from people who have them and what you think, also after a while does the battery life of them go down and loose charge quicker?

I wouldn't buy it with my own money but I got it as a Christmas present.

I think apple lied about how long it stays charged and how long it takes to recharge them. My AirPods lasts about 3 hours for a full charge. Then it takes about 15 minutes to charge it back up to 80-90% but it only lasts about an hour before I get that sound that says it's low.

Like all rechargeable devices, how long it says charged slowly decreases over time.

That's up to you. There are true wireless earbuds that have better sound at half the price. Check Amazon.

If you insist on Apple products, check for refurbished or open box to save money.

I would be surprised if they would accept them back due to health concerns (ear infection risk)

Since you are doubtful about spending that much money,
you should not have bought them to begin with.

Generally, any unnecessary item that costs more than
what you earn in one or two hours should not be purchased,
and I seriously doubt any 17-year-old with a normal job
is being paid $75 to $150 an hour!

Yes, battery life does diminish over time, eventually becoming unusable.
This is true of ALL rechargeable batteries in anything.

I'm proud of you for raising that these are an over-spend. Get a decent wired pair - no recharging, better sound (as long as they fit well) and less chance of losing one! I'm a career classical musician and spend a LOT of time listening to music - and several hours with headphones, buds, whatever. You can get decent ones for a reasonable price. Even most pros do not spend as much as FANS and hobbyists do!

The smartest thing you can learn is how to manage money. If you even save tiny amounts now, you will live like a king when you retire. We did that - have 7 figures invested, keep a car over 10 years, and still buy things on sale and use coupons. And travel the world without a worry, and do what we please. Come from blue collar people, but got smart while young. Seems to me that you have your head on right. If you figured this out on you own, good on you! If you parents raised you right - go thank them.

  • Should I return my iPhone and get my money back? I got an iPhone 4s from cricket which includes no contract so it was VERY expensive. And everything works well except it plays videos very slow sometimes. (like YouTube) and the iTunes works very slow as well (the 3G sign goes off most of the time when it's loading something). So I'm not really satisfied cause of that. Since today it's the 28th day with it and I can still return it. What do you all think? Should I get my money back?
  • Should I return my iPhone 5 and get some type of Android phone? My first iPhone 5 arrived with a scratch, and the second had sim card issues (even with a replacement card) and Wi-Fi problems. I wanted this phone mostly so I could continue to use my apps and purchase upcoming games. Getting an Android phone is tempting since I'm getting tired of Apple's quality control but I will no longer be able to use my games. What do you recommend doing?
  • Should an iPad bought in Canada work with Airpods from Ireland? I bought airpods off a seller in Ireland for 140 euros and the Airpods aren't connected to my iPad's bluetooth. I tried 2 other Bluetooth headphones and they both connected to my iPad. I messaged the seller and he said it's probably because my iPad was bought from Canada and so it's not compatible. Is this true? I got my iPad just a month ago in Alberta, Canada?
  • I spent 33 dollars on iphone 5 cases and I feel really guilty. Should I return a few? I don't know why. I just think it's a little too much on iphone cases. I bought 9 of them through ebay, but they're So cute! Should I return a few?
