Should I switch to an iPhone?
I currently have the LG Motion through Metro PCS. Now you're able to switch your phone to Metro services, including an iPhone. I've been wanting and iPhone longer than I can remember but I'm so used to Android that I don't know if I'll like an iPhone. I love my Motion but like I said, I've been wanting an iPhone since I can remember.
Basically have any of you switched from an LG Motion to an iPhone and what are your thoughts on it? Pros, Cons, does it even compare, size difference, etc.
Note: I can't afford an iPhone 5, 5c, or 5s, so I would end up getting an iPhone 4s (from my understanding IP4 can't be updated to iOS7). I Don't Want a Contract (verizon, att, etc). I want to stick with Metro.
I'm in a similar situation right now. I love Metro but I wanted an iPhone… And fortunately that can happen now. So I actually just bought an iPhone 5S… Just waiting for it to get here. I love Android but certain things about it have been bothering me lately (no matter what android phone you have there's always glitches, you NEVER get OS updates, they're just ugly phones… The list goes on). I know the biggest thing I'm gonna miss is the Android OS and how customizable and useful it is. I really felt like I could always do more with my phone than my girlfriend could with her 4S so the 4S can seem like a huge update or an even trade for you… It really depends on what you've been doing with your Motion. I made a pro and con list to figure out whether I should get a Galaxy or the new iPhone. My sister and mother have a motion so I've messed around with it a few times. In my opinion, it's gonna feel like a pretty big upgrade for you. The iPhone is slimmer, lighter, and it's just gonna feel like a beautiful piece of technology in your hand compared to that plastic bulky Motion. If you're getting the 4S you can update to iOS7 by the way… It's just the standard 4 that can't update.
- Would I be able to switch carriers without having to switch phones? I'm with Consumer Cellular and I have an iPhone SE, but I'm thinking of switching carriers so that I can get unlimited data. I don't want to get a new phone because I've had my current one about six months, I really like it, and it works great. I'm not locked into a contract with Consumer Cellular. Would I be able to switch to another carrier without having to purchase a new phone?
- Why should someone switch from iphone 4s to a 5? The new processor is only 1 to 2 seconds faster max, so no you can't say the processor. The long display isn't necessary. The width is still the same, so no the display is not worth it. And who really cares if it is light. The 4S isn't even that heavy. So other than these reasons, why would someone buy a 5 when the 4S is basically giving the same results.
- Should I switch to Verizon or At&t to get the iPhone? I'm currently with T-Mobile, sharing minutes with my mom and dad. Sadly they don't have the iPhone. I'm switching next summer to Verizon or At&t myself paying for my own line. Which is a better service and cheaper? I would want unlimited Internet and texting and a minimum of about 500 minutes, not much.
- Should I switch my iPhone 5c for an iPhone 5? Okay my iPhone 5c has 8GB and the iPhone 5 I could switch to has 16GB. The iPhone 5 is not very new, over a year old, and my phone 5c is almost a year old. Would it be worth it to switch for the extra space?
