Should I sync my iphone to my iTunes on computer?

My phone has alot of things on that I WANT TO KEEP and it has like 400+ photos and 125 music.
Every time I connect my iPhone 4S to my computer it always " do you want to sync this device with iTunes" I don't no what to put becoz I'm so afraid to lose all of my data!
And my iTunes does not have all 125 songs on as I have bought them from the iTunes shop on iPhone.
So what should I do?
Have you been in this situation?

I had an ipod touch always sync your apple products to your computer it won't delete anything it will copy everything to your computer i would suggest copying all of your pics to a sd card or something hope this was useful

I always sync mine as you will never lose anything if you have to replace your phone for ay reason.

Transfer any music and photos that are not on your iTunes from your iPhone to your computer as detailed here and then re-sync your iPhone

Is it the same computer you've always been using to put the songs on your iPhone? If so, it shouldn't delete anything that's already on there. You simply just sign on your itunes account.
