Should i update my iphone 4 8gb to ios7?
So i have an iphone 4 with 8gb and when i open the usage on settings it says 6.3? Where the rest of the memory? And should i update my phone to ios7 because it needs 3.7gb but i have 2.9gb left, should i? Please someone help me thank you x

The problem is that with the app companies out there upgrading their apps to be compliant with iOS 7, you could find yourself letting the apps update but no longer be usable as they're no longer able to work on iOS 6.
As for your space issues, go into iTunes and back up your phone (music, pictures, apps, app data, etc) and then do a factory reset. This will give you an empty phone that will allow you to download and install the new iOS 7.
The space is only needed for a short term. It's basically the space that is needed by the installation files WHILE the upgrade is taking place. Once everything is done… The files are deleted to give you your room back.
It's what I had to do with my iPhone 4 8gb.
Once the update is completed, you can restore your phone or take the time to put back on the phone only what you need/want. It's a good time to decide "Do I Really use this app?" and choose whether or not to keep it.
The nice thing is that if you later decide that you really wanted it… Once an app is paid for… You can download it as often as you like. Even years since you got rid of it.
