Should I update my iPhone 4 to iOS 6 or leave it on iOS 5?
I'm currently using iOS 5.1.1 because I didn't want to lose google maps (which I use a lot) to shoddy apple maps but I've seen a google maps app on the app store now so do you think I should update to iOS 6? And what are the benefits?
Well, you can still download the google maps from the app store so that's not a problem. They have a lot of updates on iOS 6. I can't list all of them; there's so much. YouTube is taken out of your iDevice so it is not preinstalled. You will also have to download that too
It is your choice though there's only one noticeable feature in ios 6 and that is passbook which is a pre-installed app. If you don't know what it is, it is an app which let's you track and buy tickets for things like concerts and now flights. Google stuff are all back on the Apple devices so no worries there. All in all it is not much of an update but when ios 7 does come out you will have to download ios 6 only then you can download ios 6!
