Should I update my iPhone 5?

I recently updated my iPhone to the first ios7 beta even though I'm not a developer. There's a way to skip the step where it checks if you are a developer. If I update to the second beta from my phone, will my phone become disabled? I heard a rumor that this would happen if you werent a developer.

Its good to have new firmware

I don't think you should, because Apple may have been able to fix the bug which allowed the iPhone to be updated without a Developer account. Online sources said for the first beta, when people updated without the proper steps, the iPhone become stuck in Activation Mode and couldn't be used. So I think you should not update your phone now until you are sure that it won't spoil your phone.

Now with the internet you can find all kinds of information online so you can find out whether you can update.

  • Whenever there's an iPhone update, do you update it? I don't, I still have the old (iPhone) emoji keyboard and although I'm tempted to install IOS 8.4 I'm a little hesitant b/c 1)I don't know if it's worth it. 2) My storage is almost full. I have an iPhone 5c. What about you? Do you install new IOS's? Will you be installing iOS 8.4 if you haven't already?
  • Update stopped during ios update own iphone now phones broke I connected my iPhone 4 to my computer (iTunes) and started doing the update through iTunes. About five minutes into the update iTunes in my computer stops working, causing the update to of course stop working. Now my phone will not turn on. On the screen it is black with the 'charge symbol' as if it were low on battery and an iTunes symbol. I have tried turning my phone off and on, but of course it didn't respond.
  • New iOS 6 update, find my iPhone update? I don't like the new find my iPhone update is there a way to change back to the old find my iPhone but keep the new update? It's not showing locations like it used to and won't even how me major boroughs like Croydon. Streets are difficult to see, much smaller picture. General *** compared to the older version.
  • Is the iOS 6.1 update on iPhone 3 safe to update? On my first iPhone there were problems, and the update didn't help it wiped out everything and among other things had to get a new iPhone. The iPhone I have now works, so should I risk this update? It's a 3GS.
