Should I upgrade from iPhone 4S to 5s?

I'm thinking of upgrading to the 5s as I'm at the end of my 2 year 4S contract, but the 5s is much more expensive monthly, and if I stay with the 4S for another year I would have a much reduced monthly fee. Are the advantages of the 5s enough to upgrade? Only thing I'd really like is the bigger screen - I'm not too fussed about 4G or the faster processor, although the fingerprint scanner looks handy. I've also considered the HTC One but it's a little too big for my liking and I'm perfectly happy with iOS. Also I don't like the design of the 5C so that's not really an option, and it's not much cheaper than the 5s anyway.

Iv got the iphone5 it is just as good as the 5s and a lot cheaper

Of course there's a difference between 4S and 5S but not much. If you need to have a bigger screen, also 5S has a finger print option and it's faster. But if you really want to save, stick to your 4S phone.
Or you can sell 4S and buy 5S.
If you want to switch to HTC phone, there are so many different models that are good size so that they don't look bulky in your hand

Stick with the 4. If you can now cease the contract then do so. You will get a splendid deal using 02's "Pay and go go go" for only £10 per month.

If your contract is up then I would trade it in as they now take trade ins, that would make the upgrade pretty cheap on a new contract with it. Your phone plan should be the same, it won't be more.

By the way 4G / LTE makes a huge difference. If using the fingerprint scanner, scan 4 of the thumb you use, many are using diff fingers for each scan and its far more accurate if you do 4 diff ones of your same thumb as that is what you are susposed to do.

I would wait to be honest, you can keep your plan without starting a new contract and the prices might come down in about 6 months, for now the 4s is still a credibe and decent phone and works well with the latest ios7 so there's no need to raise your monthly payments by that much.

I know it is tempting but i would wait until your 4s starts to outdate a bit, i have the 5 and honestly considered going for the 5s but it's just too much extra at the moment, i'm going to wait until the phone becomes dated and the 5s plans go down.
