Confused! IS the iPhone 4 really free?

Is it really free. Like how much will it come out to when you actually get the phone? I know that not every month its free but i mean like upfront?

It's free with the two year contract! That's how I got mine.

It's free on a 3 year contract. That means you have to stay and pay with whatever company you sign up with for 3 years… A long time. You can cancel your contract in the middle but the cost will be expensive ($100-600) depending on how much time on the contract you have left. So no, you will not need to pay anything up front but for the next 3 years, you need to pay every month (your plan)

It's free only if you get like a contract.

I got the note 2 for free so to speak. But you still need to pay your monthly bill. My brother put 100 down on his note 2 and still had to pay same monthly bill! Most sho0s give you the phones with no upfront costs hun. So if thays the case get a better phone that iphone 4! Xx

P.s it a 24 month contract but you can upgrade after 12 months for a small fee. Nothing as high as the above comment!
