Sold my Iphone to gamestop, what now?

I had my water at my house get turned off and I had been behind on my bills for 2 back to back months, so the phone was already out of service, but i had signed a two year contract, 4 months ago. So I went to gamestop and traded it in. If i wanted to get another iphone. Do i just go into sprint and say lost/stolen and buy a brand new one then pay my bill? Should i be good? Or will i get some sort of fine?

Doesn't quite work that way. If you want another iPhone from Sprint you will have to pay any outstanding bills plus the phone will cost full price. Even if you had the insurance, since you didn't pay your bills, the policy is cancelled. Sprint may require a deposit of up to $500 to continue your service.

They will know you sold it, each phone has its own mac address, so you will need to pay for the phone and the bill

you should of took it to a place where you can buy it back

  • Will gamestop take my iphone 3gs? It works perfectly, but both of the water-damage triggers have been set off due to me accidently dropping it in water for literally a second. I put it in rice for a week, and its perfect. Also, would I have to include any cables?
  • Sold iPhone on ebay now buyer wants me to unlock it? I recently sold my old iPhone 4s on ebay. The buyer contacted me a few days ago asking if I could go to att.com/deviceunlock and unlock it. It's free to me and he said he would gift me $20 on paypal if I do it. Is this legit or is this guy trying to pull something on me? It has a clean imei so it wouldn't be an issue, I just don't know if this is something that is going to get me into trouble
  • Sold iPhone 4 but now worried about whether the data can be accessed? My boyfriend just sold his old iphone 4 to a friend, and instead of wiping it out by going to settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase all content and settings, he just manually deleted all the pictures, apps, web history etc. He also left the password lock on and told his friend what the code was. Is there a possibility of his friend being able to recover what was on his phone? Or was his manually erasing everything good enough to ensure that his data and stuff won't be accessible
  • Should i trade my iphone 4s to gamestop to get a iphone 5? Its not like a need a iphone 5 but it'd be nice i guess?
