Some paid applications on iphone 5 are free for iphone 5s. Is it really like that?
My sister's phone is iPhone 5s while mine's iPhone 5. She downloaded a free app on her phone, when I searched on mine it's not free. Can someone explain?
They are all the same apps from the same App Store. You will often find a free version which has advertising displayed in the app and a paid for version that does not have the advertising.
Sometimes app makers will run a promotion and offer an app for free for a short period of time. She probably purchased it during the promotion.
There's in instance where you can download the Pages, Number, Keynote apps from Apple for free on a new iPhone but not an older one.
- Why do some people like to act like iPhones and iPads are status symbols? If it were, I mean you'd have the whole lifestyle to keep up. But a lot of people buy them. I'll admit they're both convenient but I find it a little weird to think anything of owning one. (This is in general, and not directed towards how people act to me - just my observation).
- What are some really good free ringtone apps for the iPhone? I tried Ringtones 500, 000+ but that won't let me transfer the tone from my library to my ringtones. I already use Myxer, but they don't have everything I want. Please don't suggest ringtone maker apps, I don't buy music off iTunes, I use a music download app for my music. I just want some apps that will have some ringtones to download and transfer onto my iPhone using my PC. I don't want anything complicated. Any suggestions? Myxer doesn't work anyomore. :L

- I really Like these pictures but what filters did they use like on the iphone? I know there's Afterlight and vsco cam. I use those all the time… But these pictures(from tumblr) have a different feeling to them. The filter is a darker, blueish, kinda vintage tumblr looking filter and I wanna know what they used!
