Someone stole my iphone 4s and can i track it?
If it is off can i still track it?
i think i activated icloud
and if this guy keeps my phone off ill never track it?
and if he does use it and connect to Wi-Fi is there any way?
OK, if you never took the time to activate the restriction so that in case somebody steals it and can't turn off Find My iPhone, then you could never track it. The only way is that the person that stole it have no idea how to turn it off, then you can track it and wipe clean all the data, and even install a new password. But for that they have to use it with in data or wi-fi range.
If you had Location Services on the iPhone, you can just go to any apple device and download the find my iPhone tracker app and enter our iTunes ID on the app. (You can go to Apple to do this or use another Apple device if you have any)
- Will my phone ever get found? I think someone stole it at school or it went missing I was in the locker room and I checked everywhere? I'm going to check the lost and found tomorrow. And since I have an iPhone someone let me borrow theirs and I turned on lost mode through the find my iPhone. And I filed a report to the school admins/deans office
- Someone stole my iphone and turned it off. Can they do anything with it? I was at a festival and someone swiped my phone and immediately turned it off so I can't locate it with find my phone. I switched it to lost mode and it hasn't been turned on in 2 days… Is there anything the thief can do with my phone or is there anything I need to worry about? And is their any way they can break into the phone or even use it? Just not sure why someone would go around stealing phones with zero benefit besides maybe selling it for parts.

- Someone stole my iphone and now all their stuff is on my phone? So I lost my phone the other night so the next day I deactivated it. Someone turned it in and when I got it back all there stuff was on it. I go to try and rest the phone but it says I have to have there password to rest it. So I don't know what to do.
