Something is wrong with my iTunes?

So I downloaded an album from iTunes on my computer. When it was done, I put it on my iPhone right away. I listened to it on my iPhone, and it is fine. I went to listen to it on my computer, and it will not play the whole song. One song stops after five seconds of the song and goes to the next song. Then another after 2 minutes it stops and goes to the next one. I haven't checked all the songs to see if it does it to all of them. I try to click to go to after the song skips, and it just goes to the next song. Also when it does this, it adds one to the plays.
It is just this album and only on my computer. What is wrong?

I had a similar problem. I download some music (off the iTunes store) and it would play on my iPod Touch but not my iTunes. I found out that it was because the song files got messed up whe they downloaded. Here's the solution:

1. Go through your iTunes library and find all the songs that you just downloaded.

2. Delete EVERY song. If you are asked, by iTunes, click to "move the file(s) to the recycle bin" too.

3. Go to the iTunes store and look on the right side of the screen for "Purchased" or whatever. It's a new feature.

4. All the songs, that you just bought, are there. Since you moved the song files, that were downloaded to your computer, to your computer's "recycle bin", you should see a download button next to each song.

5. Click each download button and wait for the songs to download.

6. See if your problem was fixed. If it was, you can move the re-downloaded songs to a playlist or playlists and/or just sync them on to your iPhone again (you have to sync them on to replace what's on your iPhone right now).
