Songs won't show up under the artist on my iPhone?
I added the album to my phone and it says its on there on itunes with the rest of that artists albums. However if I look at the music on my phone the album isn't under that artist. I went to check under songs and albums and I can find it there. The info on the album says the artists name so it's not the info thats wrong…
How do I get it to show up under the artist?
Try going in Itunes on a PC or laptop, or maybe Mac.
Go to the songs, artist, or album
Right click on the song
Click Get Info
and from there, you should be able to correct it.
That's all I know.
ITunes can be a bit funny that way. Here's what I would do.
Next time you connect your iPhone, browse its music in iTunes. Highlight all the songs on that album and do Get Info - you'll get this warning message that you're about to change the info for a bunch of songs. That's not a problem.
In the info box, retype the artist, album artist and album name. Then save.
Your iPhone may not recognize those changes as soon as you've made them so be patient.
In itunes click get info

Like I said, I'm out of the loop and don't really have time to experiment with every google result.

- Songs downloaded on iphone won't show up in iTunes? I bought some songs on my iphone but when I went on itunes on my mac it isn't there.usually its always there. I just got my mac a couple days ago but I haven't put my credit card number on itunes also. Maybe thats the problem? But my songs that i bought yesterday arent there on iTunes.
