Sony Xperia Z1s notification?
I used an iPhone 4 before everytime I have a new message my phone turned on and show a short script of the message. Now, I give Sony a shot and don't know why it doesn't do the same thing. When I got a mess the phone just sounds off and nothing show up the screen doesn't even turn on
I'm sorry, the Android operating system does not have that feature. You may customize the sound/vibration of notifications in the Settings menu but a notification will not bring the display out of standby mode. When you receive a notification, you may press the power key to bring the display out of standby and see the icons for notifications on the status bar at the top, also drag down the status bar for more details. Please see page 20 of the user guide linked below for an illustrated overview.
