Spilled lemonade all over iphone 4s?

So yeah. I spilled lemonade literally all over my iphone 4s. I picked it up right away got the case off and dried it off with a towel. And then put it in rice. It was working normal after i dried it off. Before I put it in the rice I turned it all the way off. Will it be okay or is it most likely ruined?

You should always remove the battery first, don't even try to check it out. Now you should remove it from the rice… Don't turn it on… And remove the battery. Put it back in the rice for at least 24hrs.

Lemonade is different from water. It has tons and tons of sugar. The sugar is worse than the wetness sometimes.

There's no way anyone can tell for sure w/o looking at the phone.

DON't take the battery out. I don't think a 12yr old girl can successfully disassemble an iphone 4.

Anytime electronics gets wet, the first thing to do is to remove the power source. That could be wall plug or battery. Never turn it on to check it because you are almost sure to short it out. Let it dry out before reinstalling the battery or plugging it in.
