Spilled smoothie on my iphone and the speaker has stopped working. Any fix I can do at home?
I spilled a smoothie on my iphone this afternoon. I cleaned it up immediately (my case protected the majority of my phone). Everything looked like it was working fine until a friend called me and I could barely hear her call. I think some of the smoothie might have clogged the speaker near the top of the phone (the one that you hold up to your ear during phone calls) because she sounded very muffled.
I'll take my phone to the apple store if I need to, but if there's a way for me to fix this at home, I'd love to save the time and money!
Any techies out there with some advice?
Nope take it to a repair shop.Once sugar gets on electronics especially internally you need a professional to fix it. If you use water or some other solutions you will risk doing more damage
- Why has my IPhone 4S speaker stopped working I've noticed my phone has gone quieter, and I have realised that my left speaker has stopped working! I've only had it for three months! This happened on my old iPhone after having it a year however I was dew an upgrade so didn't think anything of it. Does anyone know why this has happened and if I can fix it or weather ill have to take it to get repaired?
- What is the best app for Smoothie Recipes? I have a Vitimix and am looking for an Iphone app that would give me recipes for smoothies alcoholic and healthy ones as well as possibly other Recipes for my blender. Any suggestions? Free is obviously preferred but I'm open to all.
- My iphone speaker has stopped working, what can I do? My iphone speaker apparently has stopped working today. You can barely hear it ring or text message, etc. I tried the q tip in the headphone slot, tried the hair dryer by the speaker and nothing has worked. I've had it for a year and a half now and I have never had an issue. Please help! I have 2 months before I can get an upgrade! I don't live anywhere near an Apple store.
- My iPhone 4S's sound has suddenly stopped working! How do I fix it? **Please READ** So I searched online on different reasons why it may not be working. Someone said that the headphone slot may have dirt in it leaving the iPhone to believe that there's still headphones in it… Well I blew on it and nothing came out. I also plugged in my headphones and still music wouldn't play or text tones/ringtones.nothing! I know it is not water damaged because I have not gotten it wet or anything. Any ideas?
