Staph infection or lymphoma? Connection?
For a month now I've seen a couple of doctors without a real diagnosis for my issues. It all started with a left swollen tonsil/sore throat. Then I noticed I had swollen lymph nodes in my left side neck and groin. I saw a doctor about the tonsil and he said it was negative for strep bacteria but that there was abnormal levels of staphylococcus bacteria. Since then I've had digestive issues and have lost about 10 pounds without trying. I even developed left side ear and nose pain, as well as sore throat. I fear it may be lymphoma because the lymph nodes are hard and painless and not going down. What could be going on? Is this a staph infection?
If your docter hasent said anything about lymphoma then in your case it may not be.
But bring it up to your docter and have him do some tests.
And how old are you put in the comments I'll look but. I really can't diagnose you myself. Can't really think of any reasons to cause these try getting your tonsils removed.
And go back to the docter for one more check up and explain everything.

Staph infection can cause lymph node reaction.
As you have abnormal levels of staph this is the most likely diagnosis.
