Steelseries Siberia V2 on pc?
I recently bought this headset:

but it was made for idevices so there's only 1 plug for both audio and mic. I want to be able to use the mic for gaming on my pc. Would a cable like this work with it?
No, because smartphone headsets use special 3.5mm jacks with four conductors rather than the standard three that PCs use. That specific adapter only works for 3-conductor jacks.
There's this one, but apparently it doesn't work well with headsets that have a volume clicker.

I know hindsight is 20/20 but you should have gotten the normal PC version with an adapter for smartphones if you planned on using it for gaming. Sorry.
- Does the Steel Series Siberia V2 Full Sized Headset work with an Ipone? I want to purchase these for gaming on my pc, and I was curious if they worked for my iphone. I need a headset for both pc and iphone, so this would kill 2 birds with one stone. I'm not getting the USB edition, just the normal ones.
