Stolen iPhone 5. Can it be tracked?
My iPhone 5 is off and might be on airplane mode when turned on. I can't use Find My iPhone because it is off but is it also because it might be on airplane mode? Also, it says on my itunes that the last iCloud back up was at 12:47 am. Which is 10 hours after my phone was stolen. What does that mean? Could iCloud still back up when turned off?

just go to the aple store and give them your imei no. That will be written on your cell case(box).
so that they will just close your cell phone.
and the theif would not be able to use your cell info.
they will also be able to give you the location abt the cell.
go to the police and they will help you to get it back.
one of my relatives cell was stolen and got it back within a month.
when given the imei no. The police it was found that the cell was in bangalore, india.

Yes it can be tracked by another i device using findmyiphone (download from app store) just put your apple id and pass and then you can track it lock it, sound an alert from it or even erase it and report the police when tracked just make sure your lost iphone is connected to Wi-Fi or 3g. No icoud can't backup when locked or airplane that means your iphone was on that why i gave this suggestion

If it does not work, it is better for you to contact your service provider and phone provider and see if they can help. To prevent your new idevice from being stolen or lost in the future, I suggest you apply some free anti-theft apps like iLostFinder ( http://ikeymonitor.com/free-apps ) except set up Find My iPhone/iPad/iPod in iCloud on the device. It will take pics of the thief or finder when she/he tries to open your device with a wrong pass and then send the pics to your email etc. Hope it helps.

On Monday night my phone went missing at a nightclub, I'm unsure whether it was lost or stolen however a couple of other things went missing from my bag. It happened two weekends ago and I don't think the person ever turned it on until today but I got an email saying it was turned on, lost mode was activated so it locked itself, and it has tracked it to a city about 15 miles away from my house at an apartment complex.
