Stolen iPhone 6 brand new sealed?
So my neighbor bought a brand new sealed iPhone 6 (virgin mobile). It was delivered to his address but it was stolen before he had a chance to receive it. Is their anyway he can track the iPhone when someone activates it? Or any chances of recover it?
Yes. The company he bought it from should have the IMEI and serial number on file. If you can get this information, contact Virgin Mobile and file a police report. This will prevent the iPhone from being used by the thief and should allow for it to be tracked when activation is attempted. - Sealed iphone off craigslist? I'm looking at a sealed new old stock iphone off craigslist. What should i look out for, should check, and should ask the seller about? If it was stolen from a store would the imei or other numbers indicate it as such? Being sealed in box are the chances of the phone being ok/legit much better than a typical used, as-is, phone?
