Studio monitor buzzing issue tech savys

I have a pair of KRK Rokit 5 monitors hooked up to FL studio via a 3.5m(sth like that) rca cable to to my laptop audio jack, and they make this annoying subtle fuzzy sine buzzing noise, they don't make any noise when the jack isn't hooked up to anything, they also make the exact same sound any time i plug the cable to anything such as my iPhone, anyone can troubleshoot based on this? I would really appreciate the help.

Poorly shielded items is a guess. Try a better cable if you can get one to fit. Or use a better source.

I think the 3.5 mm jack ground prong was disconnected… Cold soldering joint.

plug the cable and shake it softly. If it became ok i was right.
remove its back cover and re-solder it if you have the iron…

  • Will my singing voice sound better recorded on a professional mic in a studio? & does it get edited? All I have to record me singing is my iPhone & I think I sound awful over that & it makes me sad & say horrible things that I suck
  • Why is my iPhone making a buzzing noise? Whenever I play music or any sound is made on my iPhone 4s (which I have only had a couple weeks) it sounds like the speakers are sort of buzzing. Like the music isn't clear. It sounds like if you were listening to the radio but it wasn't tuned properly. What could be wrong and how can I fix it?
  • Why iPhone s earbud make loud buzzing noise? When I was playing music on my iPhone 5s using its earbud, suddenly it makes a loud buzz (nearly killed my ears). At first, I thought it was my phone, but when I unplugged my earbud, the sound works fine. And then I thought my earbud was the problem but when I tried to restart my iPhone, and plugged in my earbud, it works! Happened for a few times and I still don't know how and why it happened.
  • Is there any difference between the beats wireless studio 2 and the brand new studio 3 wireless headphones? I currently have the beats pro that I bought a few years ago and I have the new iPhone 8 and it doesn't take a headphone jack unless you buy the special adapter which isn't godly expensive like $5-7. But to me that defeats the purpose of the phone. I was just curious as to if there are any key differences between the two and if so, what are they? Which would you prefer the two? Or maybe even keeping my headphones and getting the adapter?
