Swarovski crystals vs rhinestones?

Is there a difference between swarovski crystals and swarovski rhinestones? I'm making a phone case for my iphone. My materials will be a clear hard case, e6000 glue, and swarovski crystals. But i'm not sure if the crystals were actually different from the swarovski rhinestones.im trying to order the flatback crystals online and swarovski rhinestones keep popping up.

Swarovski, they're the most original.

BTW:
Crystal rhinestones are produced mainly in Austria by Swarovski and in the Czech Republic by Preciosa and a few other glassworks in northern Bohemia. In the US, these are sometimes called Austrian Crystal.

There's no real difference to speak of (other than marketing). Both are highly polished 32% lead crystal. There's nothing remarkable about them. They are glorified glass with a mohs hardness of about 6.5, and due to the lead they have a higher refractive index than plain glass.

Jewelry stores use quartz-halogen lighting because color temperature of about 3,500k light tends to fool your eyes and make the crystals look more spectacular, but the effect tends to get lost when photographed. The reason is technical.
