Switching from AT&T to T-Mobile
So I currently have the iPhone 5c right now and my contract with AT&T ends in April. I want to get the new phone in September/October and switch to T-Mobile. The problem is the gap between April - September. Would I have to renew my contract and wait another 2 years this April? Or what should I do
You don't have to renew your contract. You just continue to pay your bill and you are on a month to month arrangement. So you can cancel at anytime.
AT&T has stopped the 2 year contract thing as of yesterday, their plan now is buying the device outright or through AT&T next per upgrade period.
T-Mobile may have followed a similar path as well, but they do offer a lot of promises like unlimited data, text, web
its a 6 month gap you would have to wait, the carriers are shifting towards the business model of outright purchase or you pay in installments which your other carrier is as of yesterday following.

- Switching to verizon from t-mobile? Ok, so i'm wanting to switch to Verizon, but the local Verizon store or what ever you want to call it is not letting me, they are saying that i need to buy my iPhone from them. Is it true? My iPhone is already payed for and is unlocked (Not Jailbroken) Meaning i can use different Nano SIMs instead of T-Mobile. Or should i accept a plan on their website? Since the people from that store maybe ripping me off.
- Switching sprint iphone 4 to virgin mobile? I have an iphone 4 from sprint that already has its 2 years worth of a contract and its not longer activated with sprint. But its still running on their network. How can I flash it or whatever to work with virgin mobile?
