If the phone is unlocked/GSM and the ESN is clean, then yes, you can use her iPhone with no problem.

I did what they told me to do in the shop and now i'm to wait for my original sim to lose signal before i can put the new one into the iphone. Is it okay for me to go ahead and do that before the original sim loses signal or do I have to wait?
