Switching sim cards iPhone 4 to 5?
I got a iPhone 5 from a friend and I have a iPhone 4. My company is AT&T. Can I cut my sim card with a nano sim card cutter and use it with the iPhone 5? Or is there another way
You have 2 options. The first is what you said and cut the sim card. You do not have to use a nano sim cutter as there are nano sim cutting templates you can download and print from the internet. Just do a Google search for one and make sure it is scaled correctly by the fit of your current card.
Another option is going to an AT&T store and buying a new nano sim card to have assigned to your phone number.

Yes you could. It may depend on the SIM though, but more than likely you'd be fine.
- Will T-Mobile have nano-sim cards when the new iphone comes out? I want to buy an unlocked new iphone when it comes out and use it for T-Mobile, but since the new iphone will most likely be using nano-sim cards. I want to know if T-Mobile will have nano-sim cards by the time the new iphone is released.
- Will switching sim cards from one iphone to another work? Basically my iphone 4s charging port will not work and won't charge normally and stays at about 5 percent. It also won't connect to my PC. To avoid using i cloud and everything can i just switch one sim card to the new iphone 4s and will all my memory be on there? If not what will?
- When switching my sim to an iphone do I have to wait for the sim to shut off first? I'm transferring my number from a normal sim to a micro sim for my new iphone. I did what they told me to do in the shop and now i'm to wait for my original sim to lose signal before i can put the new one into the iphone. Is it okay for me to go ahead and do that before the original sim loses signal or do I have to wait?
- Taking out sim cards and cellular data on iPhone 4s? Currently I'm in a different country and do not want any unexpected charges to pop up on my bill when I return. My sim card is out but I still send emails and browse the internet using the local wi-fi from my location; since the sim card is out, I won't be charged? Also, what is cellular data? Like I said, I took out my sim card and data roaming is disabled but cellular data is turned on, I won't be charged for it being on since the sim card isn't inserted, correct?
