Switching sim cards? IPhone 4s?
Can I switch my sim card from my pantech burst to an iPhone 4s?
It seems both phones use a microSIM so yes, you can.
Before change your Sim card, you should confirm the following two steps.
1. Make sure your iPhone 4s is unlocked
2. Check whether it's GSM or CDMA.
Because CDMA phone doesn't have any sim slot. So you can't change your pantech sim card into iphone 4s. If you have any network locked iphone 4s, try to unlock your mobile phone using http://www.superunlockcodes.com/apple-iphone-4s/rs16wp9/ Here you can unlock your phone at low cost. Once unlock your iphone, you will be able to swap your sim card when you need.
- Will T-Mobile have nano-sim cards when the new iphone comes out? I want to buy an unlocked new iphone when it comes out and use it for T-Mobile, but since the new iphone will most likely be using nano-sim cards. I want to know if T-Mobile will have nano-sim cards by the time the new iphone is released.
- Will switching sim cards from one iphone to another work? Basically my iphone 4s charging port will not work and won't charge normally and stays at about 5 percent. It also won't connect to my PC. To avoid using i cloud and everything can i just switch one sim card to the new iphone 4s and will all my memory be on there? If not what will?
- When switching my sim to an iphone do I have to wait for the sim to shut off first? I'm transferring my number from a normal sim to a micro sim for my new iphone. I did what they told me to do in the shop and now i'm to wait for my original sim to lose signal before i can put the new one into the iphone. Is it okay for me to go ahead and do that before the original sim loses signal or do I have to wait?
- Taking out sim cards and cellular data on iPhone 4s? Currently I'm in a different country and do not want any unexpected charges to pop up on my bill when I return. My sim card is out but I still send emails and browse the internet using the local wi-fi from my location; since the sim card is out, I won't be charged? Also, what is cellular data? Like I said, I took out my sim card and data roaming is disabled but cellular data is turned on, I won't be charged for it being on since the sim card isn't inserted, correct?
