T-Mobile iPhone group messaging?
K so I have a factory unlocked(no jailbreak! NEVER!) iPhone 4S. I have everything working perfectly. FaceTime and iMessage both work with my phone number I didn't need any fixes for that. MMS(not iMessage) works perfect! I typed in a few things in settings and VOILA! And sending pics over iMessage always worked from the beginning. I even have 3G data service in my area which is sweet! So, one thing I do every day is group iMessage with all my friends. Almost all my friends have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. And group texting over iMessage works fine. Lately we have discussed adding our two other friends who don't have an iOS device, and have regular cell phones into the group text. But once the text switches to SMS, it will go through as an Outgoing message and it sends separately to everyone, and all replies are separate. I have MMS Messaging turned on in settings, but there's no Group Messaging option in settings like there's on my friend's AT&T iPhone 4S, and my other friend's Verizon iPhone 5. Are there any fixes for group SMS on T-mobile iPhone 4S factory unlocked? Anything to type in settings? I REFUSE to jailbreak. No hacktivating for me, k?
2 different methods, so I'm guessing everyone has to be on imessage as regular SMS text is completely different.
I'm having the same problem.
- What's the difference between group messaging and messages? I'm just asking because it always lags behind messaging and I don't message that many people at one time where you add more than 1 contact. I have an iPhone. I just check my data from the text message number.
- What is group messaging on the iphone? It says I have sent 709 messages of unlimited. Then under that it says group messaging: 2, 089 of unlimited. What does that mean? I never really have had a group texting thing with 3+ people. So does that mean someone else is receiving all my messages?
- Phones with group messaging like iPhone? I don't want an iPhone, my recent one just broke and I'm ready to try a different phone. Are there any phones that have group messaging similar to iPhone, where it is all kept in the same thread? I would like it built in, so I don't have to download another app.
- Looking for a group messaging app? Ok, so I play this game on my iPhone called Marvel War Of Heroes. I'm in an alliance (guild, clan, whatever you wanna call it), and it's very hard to communicate with people in game. I'm using Kik Messenger right now, but you can only communicate with 1 person directly. So what I'm looking for is an app that allows me to communicate with everyone in my alliance at the same time as well as 1 person directly.
