T-mobile unlimited $30 for iphone5?
I'm planning to buy the iphone5 or possibly the SG3 in a couple of weeks but I'm a bit confused on a couple of issues regarding the carriers and their plans.
First of all, I'm going to buy the phone unlocked because I don't want to be chained down to a 2 year contract since I will be studying in Europe next year.
T-mobile offers an unlimited 4g data and text plan for $30 but I keep hearing that T-moblie doesn't support 4g for iPhones and that edge would be the only functioning internet connection.
Do iPhones not work with 4g LTE at all on T-mobiles network?
If the rumors that I've heard are true, what other carriers have monthly prepaid deals with unlimited texting and a fair share of data without exceeding $50 a month?
T-mobile doesn't have LTE. They have 4G HSPA+ only in select cities and states. The Galaxy S3 will have access to t-mobiles 42mb network. You won't get 4G for 50dollara. All these plans are gimmicks. 50 dollars and you get unlimited 4G for 100 MBA then it's edge.

- Unlimited 3g on T-Mobile $50 Plan? I want to use my iPhone 4 on T-Mobile. If I pay for the $50 plan which is 500MB of high speed data, will I get unlimited 3g since the iPhone 4 is only 3g compatible? Or do they refer to "high speed" as the highest speed your phone is compatible with?
- Unlimited 3g data on T-Mobile's 2.5 gb plan? I have an iPhone 4 that was factory unlocked from AT&T to be used with my current Tmobile plan, which is 2.5gb of 4g data. The iPhone only has 3g speeds and it uses up my 2.5gb of 4g still. But after I use up all of it, I'm still on 3g- nothing's changed. Would it be smart to downgrade to tmobile's 500mb plan instead?
- UK]What's the best monthly mobile contract for Unlimited data? I don't text very much or call very much but i use the internet/data a hell of a lot on my iPhone 36S. I used to be on contract but went pay as you go, i want to switch back but on the lowest contract possible with unlimited data. I'm currently on Orange, don't mind moving.
- T-Mobile throttling on unlimited data. Any Hackers out there? Ok so I'm using an iPhone 6 running iOS 8.3 ( jailbroken). I'm trying to remove the throttling from my ISP I've tried using a VPN on my phone and laptop, No luck. Does anyone have a solution to this thanks.
