Technical support - using Iphone/Ipad as a webcam?
Is it possible for someone to use a webcam on their computer/laptop and the receiver be able to use their Ipad/Iphone camera? I thought that it may be possible to use a hotmail account as my hotmail account is linked with my Iphone/Ipad.
It might be, but if I were you, I wouldn't try it. Simply because you could have important data on the device that the iPod/Phone needs. Using it as a webcam could delete this! DO NOT USE IT!
The iPhone/iPad has built in digital camera on the rear of the device. To be able to use a webcam on computer/laptop and the receiver be in iPhone then go to the App store launch the application web camera download and install the application and download the client software for the computer, launch the webcam application on the iPhone and position the handset accordingly. Then launch the desktop client software and connect to the iPhone\ iPad and finally launch the webcam software to the computer that you want to use with iPhone and after this you are able to use iPhone as a webcam.

Please ignore the idiot from first answer, unless your phone I jailbroken there's almost no chance of this wiping it, and even if it did you could simply sync back with iTunes.

- IPhone 5 - Technical difficulty (software update)? I have an iPhone 5 and it was telling me I need a software update, so I began the update last night but my phone has frozen!
