Technophiles: Did it truly happen this way?

Bill Gates gave us Windows 1.0 in 1985, and it was good. Not satisfied with this Great Work, He then gave us an even greater gift: Windows 2.0. And it was better. But there was an ancient evil that had existed even unto the before of Windows; it's name was Apple Mac.

"Use not of the Apple Mac," Gates commanded, "and be happy unto the ends of the earth."

But Steve Jobs did spake to mankind, and told of a Great Truth. Mankind then did use of the Apple Mac, and saw that Blue Screens were shameful, that they did not express the Maker's love for his subjects, and they averted their eyes from them.

Seeing this, Bill Gates was angry, and caused Pandora to open the box. Instantly, the Windows GUI became inextricably linked to the kernel for future releases. And, knowing this, mankind was caused to suffer greatly. But Steve Jobs discovered Hope remaining in the box, and used this to create the iphone. The iphone healed many wounds, and yet also caused life to again have meaning.

This is such an amazing story. Someone should write a book about it.

Actually the imac really sparked Apple's business to keep them from going bankrupt, and then the iPod arrived after that. Thats when their stock really took off and bankruptcy was a thing of the past. IPhone and iPad then arrived later and were both hugely successfull.

If Apple didn't by "Next" in the 90s to get Steve Jobs back into the company, where he eventually took it over again, I don't think any of that would have ever happened.

No, because they are not gods, and many many people did work for them.
It's not like Jobs and Gates could do everything themselves.

This is not a Religion&Spirituality question,
unless you worship computers.

No, and you are being serious really?

whatever, they made the money off of it, questioners of it will never see.

Yeah - you could call it the libel.

The Lord Jobs has promised He will return.Keep your eyes fixed on the cyber clouds.Lo, He returneth!

  • Why did this happen to my computer? Ok so the weirdest thing happened. I rarely ever use my computer but this morning I did just up put music into my iPhone than I shut it down and put it away later today I brought it back out but it wouldn't turn on! It would start to reboot than just stop! Why is this this randomly happening my computer has worked PERFECT before infact I don't even use it. I only use to put music into my iPod which is like 1 every 2 months what do you think happened?
  • What would happen if I did this? I'm leasing my iPhone 6 (making payments to pay it off) through sprint for the next year and half. I still owe a little over $100 for my iPhone 6 with Sprint. What would happen if I switched to MetroPCS without paying a cancellation fee and paying the phone off? Is there any way I can pay it off now?
