Teens - Opinions on grinding?

Like when you're at a club or a school dance or something and people start grinding.

I don't like it. I don't think it's a good way to start a relationship (ok at my school guys just come up to girls and start grinding with them like they don't even talk or anything), I feel like the relationship would only be based on physical things, you know?
If you've been in a relationship for a while, then fine, but get a room. We don't want to see that lol.

What do you guys think?

I don't think it's appropriate for a public setting, unless it's like, some huge party.

It's not my most favorite thing to see. I wouldn't mind it so much at a club, but at a school dance I don't really think it's appropriate. It's like why. Lol. Personally, I would never do that.

I would like it if a girl came to grind on me or let me do it to her, but that has not happened yet. I don't really care if other people do it tho

Mehh. I'm a bit of a hippie about these things I think. Now, just randomly coming up to someone and doing it to them is just creepy, assuming the setting isn't a nightclub where you're all doing it and clearly if you're there you must not have a problem with it, or something. But if you do that at school, no, just no.
But, I don't know if I think things between people would be based only on physical things forever if it started like that. It's probably more likely for it to be like that than if you meet as friends in debate club or something. But when my boyfriend and I met, and for a few weeks after, things were *highly* physical and completely mindless, and somehow after really talking we figured out we actually have a ton of things in common and make a great couple. And things are pretty serious now, and majorly calmed down. So it really is possible, at least.

What people do on their own time is alright, but I don't think they should do it at school events because it is kind of trashy.

I have a different opinion then most of these people… Personally I think it's really fun and don't care if other people are gonna call me trashy. It's fun.

It makes me uncomfortable when I witness it in public because I've always thought of it as a private activity.

I personally don't like grinding. It's pretty uncomfortable.

I don't like it either. It is inappropriate and uncomfortable, and why can't they just say hi or something?
