Tempered glass screen protector?
I just received a tempered glass screen protector for my iPhone 5s. I was just wondering, since this screen protector is so durable, do you still feel the need to buy a really protective case for your phone? I was thinking of just buying a case that snaps on in the back and only protects the two sides of your phone. Also, if you have a tempered screen protector on your phone, what case do you use?

Tempered glass is the same as the glass you would have in your car windows- this glass can still be broken. The fact that it is tempered means that it is tougher and more resitant to scratches but it does not mean that it is in any way stronger in fact it could be more brittle than the screen on yoir phone. I have a tempered screen protector and I use a flip case. A gel case would be ok because it creats a ridge that will prevent your screen from hitting the ground. Unless you drop it on something jagged like a rock it should be fine

In school, it fell off of my desk face down onto the carpet. It cracked a little bit but I don't think the phone's actual screen cracked with it. Should I get a new one or just keep it?
