Can I temporarily use an iPhone 6 Plus screen on my 7 plus?
I know the camera isn't in the same spot as the 7 but Idc about the camera. I have this iphone 6 Plus screen that I bought for a phone but didn't use and now my 7 plus got wet.It turned on for a few but I couldnt really see much… I was wondering if a new screen is what I need. Can I use it til I can buy a new phone? I just need the phone on for work.
Wow
Nope it's not going to work at all! *If you have to ask the question you really haven't got a chance!
Well, the first lesson is never turn a cell phone on when there's moisture inside of it. It's not the screen causing a problem, it's the moisture, so just replacing the screen won't help. If you are able to take it apart and leave it off for at least 24 hours while it dries out, you could try piecing it back together again to see if it still works then, but you probably did irreparable harm turning it on while it was wet. Either way you simply have to give it have time to fully dry out to even try.
If you can't wait at least 24 hours without a phone you'll need to either go have the iphone replaced now or buy a cheap burner (pre-paid) phone for $50-$100 to use until you can have the iphone replaced.
Fix it
- Temporarily remove photos on the iPhone 4s? I want to temporarily remove pictures from my iPhone 4s to give me more memory space for videos and to take more pictures while on holiday but when I come back to retrieve my pictures back onto my phone I want them to be just like they were so I have the option to delete them on the device not just on itunes whereas with all the ways I know that is the only way it can be done… Help please.
- Not receive texts temporarily? I would like to know how to not receive texts temporarily, but then you get them when you want. I know you can put your phone on airplane mode but it will show if my phone is on airplane mode so when my dad checks it he will turn airplane mode off and my phone will receive the texts. Is there any other way that I can temporarily not receive texts but then get the texts after I turn an option off? By the way, I have an iPhone!
- Iphone says your iphone can't be activated bc the activation server is temporarily unavailable? I called the carrier i have and they said to reset my phone so i did it still just says this i can't even use my phone what do i do
- I'm switching iPhones and services, and I concerned about the process and loss of service (even temporarily). Any tips on how to handle it? I bought an open iPhone SE to replace an older iPhone, and I'm signing up for a different service. They provide the SIM. And of course I want to port my old number to the new service. But I don't want to cancel my old service before the new one is set up. If I set up the new service before I cancel the old one will I have two functioning phones on the same number for a while? I'm not sure how to handle this and cause the least disruption to my service.
