Text free on iphone is acting crazy

My daughter has an iPod with text free. For a while all was good. She could send messages fine to my iphone. A few days ago a problem started. When she texts people they all go to my phone and say they are from me to the person she sent them to. When they text her back, a copy also goes to me. I don't have some of these people on my phone even. Sometimes, they also come up as her sending them to my email. This isn't only happening to me. My ex gets messages that say they are from my phone but are actually texts from her. None of her other friends are saying they are getting these random messages though. I'm not sure if this is a problem with my iphone or her iPod. Even then, I have no idea how to fix this. It is very irritating. I called apple and they had no idea what was going on but assured me it couldn't be a virus.

Also, there are other texting apps like Textplus, Textnow, and Textme. Your daughter might want to consider going to these apps instead, hopefully they won't give you problems. She'd have to change her phone number with a new app but it might be worth it.
